Addition/Subtraction Number Bonds BINGO Directions

  • Use the 6, 8, 10 or 12 faces die (from virtual dice online) to generate numbers that students can use to fill in the boxes. Give one number at a time and give a certain amount of time for students to plug in their numbers in any of the spaces (the darkened boxes or the white boxes) of their choice.
  • Each roll of the die enables one number to be filled into one square.
  • The goal is to create number bonds until they meet the requirements below, to call out the word "BINGO" out loud, and end the game.

2x2 Chart Number Bonds BINGO (Addition & Subtraction)
  • For Shorter Play (2x2): The person to complete two number bonds across, up/down or diagonally, wins. 
  • For Longer Play (2x2): The person to complete all of the 4 number bonds wins.

3x3 Chart Number Bonds BINGO (Addition & Subtraction)
  • Directions: The person to complete three number bonds across, up/down or diagonally, wins. 

4x4 Chart Number Bonds BINGO (Addition & Subtraction)
  • Directions: The person to complete four number bonds across, up/down or diagonally, wins. 

Multiplication/Division Number Bonds BINGO #1 Directions

2x2 Chart BINGO  (Multiplication/Division)
    • Have students choose the numbers to put in the 4 dark boxes from this list: 
      • 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 16, 18, 20, 24, 30, 
    • Use the 12 face die (from virtual dice online) to generate numbers that students can use to fill in the factors for the white boxes. Give one number at a time and give a certain amount of time for students to plug in their numbers in the white spaces of their choice. (Recommended: skip the number 11)
    • At the bottom of the chart, students should list the numbers they were not able to use.
    • For Shorter Play: The person to complete two number bonds across, up/down or diagonally, wins. 
    • For Longer Play: The person to complete all of the 4 number bonds (the whole chart) wins.

3x3 or 4x4 Chart BINGO  (Multiplication/Division)
    • Have students choose the numbers to put in the 9 or 16 dark boxes from this list: 
      • 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 24, 28, 30, 36, 40, 48   
    • Use the 12 faces die (from virtual dice online) to generate numbers that students can use to fill in the factors for the white boxes. Give one number at a time and give a certain amount of time for students to plug in their numbers in the white spaces of their choice.  (Recommended: skip the number 11)
    • At the bottom of the chart, students should list the numbers they were not able to use.
    • For 3x3 Chart Play: The person to complete three number bonds across, up/down or diagonally, wins. 
    • For 4x4 Chart Play: The person to complete four number bonds across, up/down or diagonally, wins.
    • For Longest Play for both 3x3 & 4x4 Chart Play: When all you number bonds are filled-in, call out "Blackout" to show you have won. Then call out your number bonds to show they are correct.

Multiplication/Division Number Bonds BINGO #2 Directions

3x3 or 4x4 Chart BINGO  (Multiplication/Division)
    • Write in the multiplication/division number bonds, with no answer (in shaded box) larger than 100 and only 1 answer with the same numbers.
    • Use the Times Table BINGO Game Wheel to generate numbers that students can use to fill in the factors for the white boxes. Give one number at a time and give a certain amount of time for students to plug in their numbers in the white spaces of their choice.
    • At the bottom of the chart, students should list the numbers they were not able to use.

optional ways to win:
    • For 3x3 Chart Play: The person to complete three number bonds across, up/down or diagonally, wins. 
    • For 4x4 Chart Play: The person to complete four number bonds across, up/down or diagonally, wins.
    • For both 3x3 or 4x4 Chart Play: When all you number bonds are filled-in, call out "Blackout" to show you have won. Then call out your number bonds to show they are correct.
