Children's Festival Outdoor Dance 2012
5th graders from the L.A. area learned this choreographed dance to the music of "Simple Gifts" and performed it in the outdoor plaza of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. I am taking video of my class doing this dance. Right before this outdoor dance, we went inside the L.A. Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to see the performance of "Blast", a Tony Award winner theatrical performance that is part marching band, part color guard, and part jam session, with synchronized choreography and dance (includes brass and percussion).
