Sacagawea

She faced danger along the way

Before she knew it she was saved

She showed Lewis and Clark the path

She knew she’d go back to her family at last

She was very young

But a smart one

She hoped her child

Will last the miles

She saw many others

Then got home

And saw her brother

Oh how happy she was

Her heart burst into hugs

She was home with her family and friends
